1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anvil OS field-service software platform (the "Service") provided by The Reliable Cleaners ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Maine, USA. By creating an account, accepting these Terms at signup, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These are interim terms and will be updated; the effective date of the final terms is to be finalized.

2. The Service

The Service provides tools for running a cleaning and field-service business, including scheduling, quoting, invoicing, payments, client and crew management, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but provide it on an "as available" basis.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. You will not misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful or infringing content, or use it to send unsolicited communications in violation of anti-spam laws. You are responsible for your own customers and the work you perform for them.

5. Your Data and Privacy

You retain ownership of the business and customer data you put into the Service ("Your Data"). You grant us the limited permissions needed to host, process, and display Your Data to operate the Service for you. We handle Your Data in line with our privacy practices and applicable law, and we do not sell your customers' personal information. Anonymized benchmarking. The Service may compute anonymized, aggregated statistics — for example, typical pricing margins and win rates for similar jobs — and share those aggregates across customers so you can compare your performance to the wider network. Only de-identified, aggregated figures are shared: never your raw records, your customers' identities, or any client-identifying detail. Participation is reciprocal (you see network aggregates only while contributing to them) and you can turn it off at any time in your settings.

6. Fees and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Fees are stated at the time you select a plan. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can change or cancel your plan from your account settings; changes take effect according to your billing cycle. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties (for example, payment processing and email delivery). Your use of those integrations may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

8. Service Availability

We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, suspend, or restrict access when reasonably necessary, and will make reasonable efforts to limit disruption.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet every requirement or be free of errors. AI-assisted estimates and pricing suggestions are provided for convenience and are estimates only. You are solely responsible for reviewing them and for your final pricing, quotes, business decisions, tax handling, and compliance. We do not guarantee that any estimate, suggestion, or benchmark will be accurate or profitable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. The total monetary cap on our liability is to be finalized in the final terms; until then, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Term and Termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using it and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will make reasonable provision for you to export your data where practicable.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves and as our final, counsel-reviewed terms are completed. When we make a material change, we will update the version and ask you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The specific venue for disputes is to be finalized in the final terms.
